Yamini Swami has penned a heart touching story which propagates the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign of the Narendra Modi government. The story is set in the background of the lower middle class family of Ranchi Jharkhand.Where a Taxi driver and his family doesn’t want a female child and they leave no stone unturned to ensure that the female child should not be born and they are considered as a burden and curse.
This film offers a fresh concept where the girl not only takes care of herself but also ensures to boost the career of her uneducated father and mother and become their support.
Slowley she becomes inspiration for her neighbourhood and society. This is an emotional treat to the viewers. The screenplay is genuine where the audience can relate to their nearby environment. The Scenes are full of emotions and you can easily connect.
As a Debutant Yamini Swami in the role of Shakti plays all the characters herself right from school girl to an IAS Officer and her graceful onscreen presence was like fresh Breeze.
She keeps switching her characters from an innocent girl to a strict IAS officer to an inspirational lady within no time.
Jaya Prada did justice as a chief Minister. Late politician Amar Singh played a friendly appearance . Aryamann Seth plays a doctor utilises his screen time to the best of his abilities . Anupam Shyam , Peeyush Suhaney, Arman Tahil, Kamaal Malik, Garima Agarwal, Hariom Parashar, Rajesh Khanna, Rena Sahay, Jayant Mishra and Dilip Sen lend routine support.
Yamini Swami the main lead who also tried to take multiple responsibilities as a director ,writer and actress within the movie as a challenge to prove the title of the movie Badhai Ho Beti Huee Hai and set a real example. Music (Amit S. Trivedi and Dilip Tahir) is good. Lyrics are meaningful. Choreography (Sandip Soparkar and Raju Khan) are average. B. Satish’s camerawork needs improvement. Prince Mishra’s action and stunt scenes were okay . Rajesh Sharma’s editing was ok.
