SuchirIndia Foundation celebrates Sankalp Diwas 2021

– Sankalp Diwas (November 28th) celebrated each year to mark the birthday of Lion Dr. Y. Kiron

SuchirIndia Foundation, the CSR arm of SuchirIndia, one of the leading real estate and hospitality enterprises in South India today celebrated Sankalp Diwas 2021, with great fanfare to mark birthday of Lion Dr. Y. Kiron. On the occasion, SuchirIndia Foundation gave away ‘Sankalp Tara Awards’ to organizations and individuals who did great service for the betterment of the society. In addition to these, Sankalp Sanjeevani Puraskar was bestowed upon Ms. Seethakka, MLA, Mulugu Assembly Constituency, as a recognition for her work during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Noted film actor, writer, and director Sri Thanikella Bharani garu and Padmasri Award winner for 2021, Sri Kanakaraju garu were the distinguished guests at the event and they presented the Sankalp Tara Awards to the winners. Each year, SuchirIndia Foundation identifies organizations and individuals who have done exemplary social work and rewards them to inspire people and businesses to re-dedicate themselves to the society.

Commenting on the awards, Lion Dr. Y. Kiron, Chairman & Managing Director, SuchirIndia said, “Happiness is not when you accumulate, but when you share with the World. I believe, every able individual must give something back to the society, and that is how we will build a beautiful tomorrow for ourselves and for our future generations. There are many people amongst us who strive hard for betterment of the society, and these Sankalp Tara Awards is an attempt to recognize their great work and encourage them to do more. This year too, we have selected some social organizations and individuals who have been doing great work.”

Among the organizations, this year’s winners are: Make A Difference, MARPU Foundation, CHEERS Foundation, Make A Wish, SMILE Foundation, and Sahi Disha Foundation. Individuals who will be rewards for their great work are: Sri Pedabala (Rampachodavaram – East Godavari), Dr. Ramavath Narendar (Paloncha – Kothagudem), Smt. Pareshamma (Gopidinne – Chittoor), Smt. Jakkula Renuka (Lingapur – Siddipet), Sri Komera Jaji (Guntur), and Ms. Sravya Reddy (Hyderabad).
