*All government documents to be issued by the YSRCP Government without any service charge at these camps.*

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today launched ‘Jagananna Suraksha’, an unprecedented initiative where the government is proactively reaching out to every household, organising a camp in every GSWS (Gram & Ward Sachivalayam) to resolve citizen issues in a mission mode.

As a next step to ‘Jaganannaku Chebudam’, this initiative involves an extensive door-to-door survey in all the 1.6 crore households across the state by 2.6 lakh Gram & Ward volunteers and 1.5 lakh Village/Ward Secretariat officials along with elected representatives, socially and politically inclined activists to identify any issues that citizens face regarding schemes or essential certificates. Subsequently, from 1st July, one-day camps will be organized across 15,004 Village/Ward Secretariats in a phased manner by around 3,000 senior mandal-level government officers over a period of 30 days to address as many citizen issues as possible on the spot.

*Jagananna Suraksha will cover all Government documents such as Caste (Integrated Certificate), Income, Birth, Death, Marriage, Family, Transaction Mutations, Aadhar Linkage to phone numbers, New/Split of Rice Card, Household Split, Crop Cultivator Rights Cards which the citizens can conveniently receive in fast-track mode. Through this initiative, the government will issue the required documents to the citizens without imposing any service charge. The entire focus of this campaign is to ensure that no eligible person is bereft of welfare scheme benefits as provided by the YSRCP government.*

Addressing the government officials virtually from the camp office, CM Jagan said, ‘Jagananna Suraksha will fix documentation problems of 15,000 Gram/Ward Sachivalayams across the state. We won’t leave even the 1% of citizens who might be missing out on schemes due to technical issues.’ Further, pledging his commitment to the people of Andhra Pradesh, CM Jagan remarked, ‘In the history of the country, there is probably no government that has undertaken such a massive exercise to ensure a smile on every citizen’s face.’

*Jagananna Suraksha – The Process*

– 7 days before the camp, the village and ward volunteers will do an extensive door-to-door survey to inform the citizens about the Jagananna Suraksha programme, conduct a survey to register any issues related to any government scheme or certificates, collect related documents in advance and submit at the Sachivalayam office. The volunteers will also issue a token number for the service request raised to the citizen.

– On the day of the camp, the citizens should bring the token number provided to the Sachivalayam and present it at the registration desk. Once provided, they can meet the officials to get their issue resolved or receive their certificate on the spot.

– The YSRCP government aims to address as many requests as possible during the camp day itself. However, any pending requests will be closed within the next 7 days of the camp as far as possible.

– The Chief Minister’s Office has been tasked to oversee camp operations, along with the Gram Sachivalayam Ward Sachivalayam (GSWS department) which will be the nodal agency. In addition, along with Collectors, senior IAS officers are also assigned to oversee the process. To make the campaign more effective, Sachivalayam staff and elected representatives too will provide real-time assistance and monitoring.

This proactive initiative from the YSRCP government strives to establish a robust security net for all citizens. It aims to secure the rights of women, the future of children and youth, the interests of the farmers, the respect for the elders, the upliftment of the marginalized, and to promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the self-employed and business owners.
